When installing Archicad, don't do the Easy install. Custom install is faster and saves space.
In the Installer, select custom in the upper left corner. Check everything except Library, Plotters, PlotFlow, and Adobe Acrobat Reader. Under Plotters, check the HP option(s).
In AC8, the documentation is not installed by the installer. If you want the documentation to show up on the help menu in Archicad, you must copy the folder 'Archicad 8 Documentation' to your Archicad 8 folder, and rename it to 'Documentation.'
