When installing Archicad, don't do the Easy install. Custom install is faster and saves space.

So easy anyone can do it. Unless it doesn't work.
You're in an S/E window and you want to change something in the settings of that S/E. Go back to the plan, right? Nope, double-click the S/E tool in the toolbox!
Update: In AC10, right-click in the section window and choose Section/elevation settings.
The toolbar in Finder windows is customizable. Certain customizations I have stuck you with, and when they malfunction, you need to be able to fix them.
I have updated the object Elev Marker JAM8. You can automatically display the elevation to Sea Level, as well as Project Zero. There is also an option for a break point when the symbol needs to bend.
In order to use Sea Level, select it in the Reference Level parameter. You must have your '1st Reference Level' set properly in Options -> Preferences -> Working Units and Levels.
To show a bend in the symbol, set the Break Point parameter to greater than 0. The height of the bend comes from the Height parameter. When Break Point=0, the Height is ignored.
1. Put the file in Project:2 Reference:Site Info.
2. In Archicad, open it from the file menu. Doubleclicking it won't work.
I assume you have a CD burner.
Get a blank CD from the left most happy space cabinet. Put it in the CD drive.
This is a reprint of the notes for the Libraries & Objects tech meeting a while back.
I have updated the object Gutter JAM8. You can display the position of the downspouts on any/all of the three stories below, at heights you specify.
The primary purpose of this is to show slab penetrations.
I have announced this before, but just to reiterate, emphasize, clarify...
New projects should be begun in Archicad 8.
In my latest attempt to not 1) expect everyone to remember everything, 2) expect myself to remember to tell everyone everything, 3) talk 9 hrs/day, I have begun this website.
