A few Now Contact & Up-To-Date issues & tips.
Q: My calendar is empty.
A: Go to File | Open. Select your calendar file. It is named something like '[YOU] Calendar', and located at [home]:Documents:Now. Chances are when you get the open dialog it will default to this location. Check the 'Make this my primary file.'
Q: Why does it forget?
A: I don't know. When you launch Now Up-To-Date, it opens the primary file if there is one. If you close the calendar window without quitting, the next time you activate Now Up-To-Date, it opens a blank file. (Refresher on Close and Quit.) The way around this is refrain from closing the window and instead to 1) Quit, 2) Hide the app using Cmd+H or option-clicking on another app, 3) Minimize the window to the Dock.
Q: Wow that's a lot of alternatives.
A: This is a golden age.
Q: I don't see events I know someone has added.
A: Check that you are online with the server. Above Saturday in the main calendar window you will see the server information. It should say, 'Public events up to date', or something about sending or reading edits. If it says 'offline', then you're offline. Go to Define | Server Conections... Highlight the one entry and click the 'Change' button. Check the 'Online' box.
Q: Why does it forget?
A: I don't know. Maybe you took it offline when you took your computer home so...no wait, probably not. Must be a glitch.
A: Please check that you are connected before re-making any events you think are missing.
