1. Build a really nice model.
2. Point a camera at the house.
3. Use the 'Working Section' or 'Working Model' layer combination.
4. Select 'Hidden Line' from the Image menu, or in 3D Window Settings (Cmd+Opt+1).
5. Turn on the vector fills in 3D Window Settings (Cmd+Opt+1).
6. Right-click on the camera and select '3D window'. Adjust the camera as necessary.
7. Copy the lines from the 3D window.
9. Paste into your 'P1 View' detail window. Make sure you choose 'Original Location'. Make any line edits you want.
10. Place a drawing title object. Put a space in the scale field so no scale displays.
11. Save the drawing as a PMK. Yes, a PMK. Better yet, publish it.
10. In PlotMaker, import the PMK to the proper sheet. Select the frame and change the scale so the drawing is the right size. Make note of the scale.
10. Back in Archicad, change the scale of the detail window to the scale you got from PM. Save or publish the PMK again. This makes the drawing title text come in at the right size.
10. Once you have the drawing saved, activate the line tool, select all, and delete. Yes, delete. Leave the title. A drawing like this can easily be 20,000 lines or more, adding 10MB or more to your file size. This is also the reason we use PMK. If the drawing were a linked view, you would have to keep the lines.
