A sloped crown object for shed roofs. It's similar to the Crown Tool.

Sorry about the 'a'. I found an issue I couldn't fix in place, so I had to make a copy.

Moulding. Pick one.

Slope. Pick one, or use a custom slope in degrees.

The Right Side and Left Side are both optional. If you turn them both off, you get just the front, rolled at the slope angle.

The sides can be graphically switched off and on in plan, using the editing hotspots at the front of the crown.

Applied To... Orientation of the plane the object is applied to. Plumb for walls. Sloped for roofs with a perpendicular edge. Plumb can also be used for roofs.

The 'Applied To' setting affects how the object's position relates to the insertion point. If plumb, the insertion point is at the back of the front part of the object, against the wall. If sloped, it's the top back corner, where the object would meet the top edge of a roof. This should help you place the object in plan with either setting.

Wall Backer. The backer board can be 5/4x_, 1x_, or a custom thickness. You can set a reveal dimension or an overall width; these parameters are hooked together.

If the object is Applied To... Plumb, The Front Board Angle can be Plumb or Rotated:

If the object is Applied To... Sloped, the board angle must be Rotated.

Top Skin. Under the model heading in the parameter list, turn this on to cover the whole object with roof stuff. For details where the top of the crown equals the top of the roof, the object will wrap the roof element. The skin covers the crown, and the roof, in 3D.

Plan Fill. The top skin in plan.

Tip: When the roof is thicker than the crown, subtract:
